Ingredients

  • 6 Medjool dates pitted
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Method

Cooking Instructions
    Prepare the Dates
    1. Remove the pits from the dates. If the dates feel dry, soak them in warm water for about ten minutes. Soft dates blend better and help create a smoother dressing.
    Gather the Ingredients
    1. Measure all ingredients carefully before blending. Having everything ready makes the process faster and helps maintain the perfect balance of flavors.
    Add Everything to the Blender
    1. Place the dates, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, water, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper into the blender. Make sure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
    Blend Until Smooth
    1. Blend on high speed for about one minute. Continue blending until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and free from date chunks.
    Adjust the Consistency
    1. Check the texture. If the dressing seems too thick, add one tablespoon of water at a time. Blend again until you reach your preferred consistency.
    Taste and Adjust
    1. Taste the dressing. Add a pinch of salt if needed. If you want a stronger tangy flavor, add a small splash of balsamic vinegar.
    Transfer to a Jar
    1. Pour the dressing into a clean glass jar or airtight container. Use a spatula to scrape every bit from the blender.
    Chill Before Serving
    1. Place the jar in the refrigerator for at least thirty minutes. This resting time helps the flavors blend together beautifully
