  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and cleaned
  • 1 cup crawfish tails
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Method

Cooking Instructions
    Cook the Pasta
    1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add a little salt and cook the pasta until tender. Drain well and set aside.
    Prepare the Seafood
    1. Rinse the shrimp and crawfish under cold water. Pat them dry using paper towels. Sprinkle a small amount of Cajun seasoning over the seafood.
    Sauté the Vegetables
    1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until soft and fragrant, stirring often.
    Cook the Shrimp
    1. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Cook for several minutes until pink and fully cooked. Stir gently so the shrimp stays tender and juicy.
    Add the Crawfish
    1. Place the crawfish tails into the skillet. Stir carefully and cook for two minutes. This allows the seafood to absorb the delicious flavors.
    Create the Cream Sauce
    1. Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream into the skillet. Stir continuously while bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
    Season the Sauce
    1. Add paprika, black pepper, salt, and the remaining Cajun seasoning. Stir well. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth.
    Combine Everything
    1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss gently until every piece of pasta is coated in the rich and creamy seafood sauce.
    Garnish and Serve
    1. Turn off the heat and sprinkle green onions and parsley over the pasta. Serve immediately while warm for the best flavor and texture.
